ASPE is a professional society which promotes the highest standards and ethics in the practice of construction estimating. The American Society of Professional Estimators began in 1956.

Originally, the society started with fewer than 20 members in the Los Angeles area. Now, nationwide, ASPE members number in the thousands with chapters from coast to coast. ASPE was created with dedication and commitment to the concept of providing its members with tangible benefits.

In addition to the fellowship and professional networking available to ASPE Members, we offer excellent educational resources, avenues, and opportunities aimed toward the Estimating and Project Management Professional. This spans from entry level type training all the way up to the highest level of Certified Professional Estimator or CPE. The CPE is a nationally recognized level of professional achievement within the Commercial Construction Estimating field.
